Endpapers and all text papers show age toning & dust dulling. Heavy papers have deckle edges on bottom and side. Two or three pages of the index show ghost of leaves of a pressed plant (plant no longer in book). Dust jacket in fair condition. All intact but shows shelf & edge wear and many chips along edges (see photos.) DJ not price clipped ($2.95.); in mylar cover. Title page notes title as listed here; dust jacket, however, just indicates "A History of Science." 574 numbered pages.
