Written by Isaac Watts, an English Congregational minister, hymn writer, theologian, and logician. Bound in full straight grained morocco. Externally, smart with rubbing to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Light fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot or handling mark. Very Good. book.

OCLC does not locate any copies but one was located at AAS #358124. Divided into two sections, the small songbook lists the words for 28 Divine Songs, followed by a list of the "10 Commandments" and the "Sum of the Ten," as well as words for 3 Hosannas, and "Glory to the Father." The section titled, "Moral Songs," lists the words for 8 songs. This is an early copy of a hymn book that was later revised and reprinted.
