Add to basketCondition: Good. 1947. First Edition. 196 pages. This is an ex-Library book. Grey pictorial dust jacket over blue cloth. Ex-Library copy, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear… to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light wear to unclipped dust jacket with tears, nicks and creases to spine, edge and corners.

Book is bound green cloth over boards with dark blue lettering and decoration on the front cover and spine. Minor wear to cloth along edges and corners. Spine… has minor spotting. Corners are slightly bumped. Rear gutter is cracked, but the text block remains tight and secure. Pages are toned throughout with mild foxing, but are otherwise crisp and clean. Numerous plates and illustrations printed in both full color and B&W. 160 pages. Frederick Warne & Co. No date on title page. Copyright page is dated 1931. A good copy.
