Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. Published by The Macmillan Company, New York in 1960, here is the first hardback printing of DARWIN'S VISION AND CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVES edited by Walter J.Ong. 154 pages, green cloth binding, blue lettering and decoration the book is in very good conditio…n with a few spots to the front cloth cover and the name of a previous owner (the revered Oxford scholar and Hertford College fellow Anthony Cockshut) written softly in pencil to the front free end paper. Anthony has also made a few pencil lines in the borders and some pencil notes to the last blank page at the rear of the book. the dust jacket is fair with some general chipping and creasing to the top and bottom edges plus some very light browning/ finger marking to the rear of the jacket. There is also an internal tape repair to a tear at the back of the jacket and the spine. A very decent offering.
