Condition: Very good. - Octavo, 6-3/4 inches high by 4-1/2 inches wide. Hardcover, two volumes bound in tan cloth with a gilt device on the front covers and titled in gilt on the spine, with a green silk bookmark. The top edges are gilt. The spines are lightly bumped with minor bubbling to that of the first volume. The covers are very slightly soiled. 574 deckle-edged pages; and viii & 635 deckle-edged pages plus a 4-page catalog of the first 100 books in the series. A previous owner's name and address is penned on the front pastedown of each volume. Very good. First edition thus. The Unit Library Nos. 8 and 9, printed by F. W. S. Clarke, Ltd., Leicester.
