Hard Cover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Discolored cover scuffed at edges and almost half of spine missing. Gift presentation on title page dated 1929. Pages light and tight. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Lower corner of front cover has quite noticeable wear, otherwise light edgewear, light wear and small creases at extremities.

Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Designs by F. W. Raymond (illustrator). First edition. 8vo, 64pp., green pictorial cloth, Xmas inscription in 1918 on recto of frontispiece. An anthology, including "The Lake Isle of Innisfree" by William Butler Yeats. Others by Lord Byron, Eugene Field, Jane Taylor, R.L.S. etc. Designs by F. W. Raymond.

Wrappers. Condition: Very Good. (1912). Thoughts of home by various authors including Daniel Webster, Myrtle Reed, Francis Holden, Oliver Wendell Holmes, John Greenleaf Whittier, etc. Covers show light wear and soiling with a small chip at bottom of spine, 1/2"; back cover has chip, 1" x 1", at top corner. Internally, clean and tight. Very good, wrappers. (081).

Soft cover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Soft leather covers. The original box is present but is falling apart. Not all the page edges have been cut through. The text is in very nice condition.

Paperback. Condition: Fair. 127p. Limp leather wraps which were originally dyed green. Heavily rubbed and much of the dye has rubbed away, especially around the edges. Wraps extend a little past the page block, and show the usual wear to these yaps, especially at the corners. The endpapers are split, the front pastedown is torn and trying to come free. The rfep has come loose and is laid-in. Issued uncut, and not all pages have been opened. A few pages have pretty ragged fore-edges from careless opening. Pages are clean and bright. The binding is in pretty rough shape, due to the problems with the endpapers already described, and the wraps are definitely trying to come free from the spine, but are still attached at present. Size: 12mo - over 6 3/4 in - 7 3/4 in tall. Year: 1911.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. ] Soft leather binding, 12mo, appx 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches, gilt and embossed green leather (yapped edges), 127 pages, Near VG condition. Leather tanned unevenly at edges + spine completely tanned. Silk-finish endpapers (green and fragile) show cracking (pastedowns) and some chipping (free endpapers). Interior clean & mostly very nice, incl frontis portrait and tissue overlay. Fore-edges opened manually with at least a couple of very short tears into the margin and one slightly longer tear along one fore-edge. Green place-mark ribbon bound in. A Stevenson quotiation for every day of the year - some only a couple of lines, while some are nearly a full page. RWR5 Literature Quotations.

Top edge gilt. With frontispiece tissue-guarded sepia-tone portrait of Robert Browning. Poems organized from January through December. Light rubbing to cover extremities. Light-to-moderate loss of gilt and white to portions of front board due to general wear. Some rear text pages uncut. Clean and tight.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 12 mo. Pp. 127, frontispiece photo portrait, title-page ruled in red. Pale teal ribbed cloth, gilt-stamped decoration with white flowers, lettered in white and gilt, top edge gilt, others untrimmed, gilt spine lettering. Slightly scuffed and soiled, else very good.

Non-authorial 1912 gift inscription on inner flyleaf; presentation box lightly rubbed and age toned, with minor expert archival restoration to 1" side panel of box bottom. Handsome first edition of this slim verse gathering of more than one hundred poems celebrating kisses, with contributors ranging from the Brownings and Christopher Marlowe to Paul Verlaine and Ben Jonson. A lovely production rarely found in the delicate presentation box.
