Pps.105, with a full page plate of facsimile signatures, a map, 3 very fine aquatint .plates and 14 drawings, 4 triple folded.The half title is inscribed by the author "to Davies Gilbert, president of the royal society,with the authors respectful compliments.". The Gilbert bookplate to the front of the book, and a letter, dated 1828 from the auther tipped in at the end. A very clean large uncut example, in a contemporary half calf binding, some wear to edges. There is an inoffensive water stain to the reverse of 3 of the folding plates,and a slight discolouration to the bottom blank margin.of one folding plate.
