End-papers are more notably foxed. Plates are bright and clear. Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering has become dull. Book has a slight forward lean.

Quarter leather, 5 raised bands with gilt decoration on spine and titles on a red leather panel. Head of text block is gilded. All text in English. The life and works of sculptor Giovanni Pisano (@1250 -1315) who worked primarily in Siena, Pisa and PIstoia, Italy. Very good with a crack starting on lower left side of spine, water stain at foot of text block, some shelf wear, rubbed corners with slight losses and small scrapes of leather. Pages mostly unmarked, with light foxing at text block and a few page margins. Scarce edition.
