First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First edition (no additional printings listed). Original pictorial paste down paper covered boards, 3 3/4 x 4 1/2 inches, 425 pp + 4 pp ads, illustrated with black and white drawings by H E Vallely. Hardcover, very good. Corners bumped, bit rubbed along edges, 2 inch closed crack on inside rear board, paper age yellowed, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked and apparently never read. Interesting flip book; consists of text with each facing page having both a full page drawing and a smaller one on the upper corner, which, despite the instructions to the contrary, move in proper sequence when flipped from front to back. Unusual take off on the far more common Big Little Books. Children's; western; flip book; 424 pages.
