Das Interesse der vorliegenden Untersuchung liegt insbesondere auf dem Ausbildungsgrad und den berufsbegleitenden QualifizierungsmaÃnahmen der unterrichtenden Lehrkräfte, ihrer Einschätzung zu den eigenen Kompetenzen sowie der Reflexion über ihre Ausbildung bezüglich Deutsch als Zweitsprache. Sie versucht den Weg für weitere Forschung im Bereich der Lehrendenprofessionalität in Deutsch als Zweitsprache zu à ffnen insofern, dass sie auf die Notwendigkeit von professionellem DaZ-Unterricht sowie intensivere Weiterbildung der Lehrkräfte aufmerksam macht. Auch ihr Fokus auf die Internationalen Vorbereitungsklassen, die unsere multikulturelle mehrsprachige Gesellschaft widerspiegeln und auf die Dringlichkeit von passgenauen MaÃnahmen hinweisen, kà nnte als Anstoà für weitere empirische Forschung auf diesem Gebiet agieren.
