Illustrated throughout with black-and-white photographs, drawings and technical diagrams. Catalogue contains listings for the different types of concrete and concrete pipe that the company makes. Listings contain specifications and physical properties for the given pipe, along with details regarding its construction, manufacture, installation and maintenance. Accompanying tables give physical dimensions, using labeled technical diagrams to give a sense of scale. Edges and corners of covers are worn; covers are a little rubbed. Some writing on front cover, along with stamp from the library of the Public Roads Administration; date on stamp (July 9, 1947) indicates date of receipt by the library. Identical stamp appears on several pages. The Universal Concrete Pipe Co., a manufacturer of concrete and concrete pipes, was based in Columbus, Ohio. $20.

Printed cream color wrapper, in good condition. 109 pages, measuring 8.5 x 11 inches in size. Tables, diagrams and black & white photographs throughout. The wrapper is protected in a thin, plastic sheeting that is starting to peel at the corners. The first and back page of the wrapper are beginning to come apart from the glue at the spine (see pictures). The binding is strong and tight with no loose or missing pages. All pages are bright and unmarked, with clear illustrations. This catalog comes from a collection of several thousand trade manuals.
