This scarce story of a little known or discussed piece of correspondence apparently conveying a first-hand account from a friend and witness to Jesus' crucifixion and surrounding events. This is a purported letter, written seven years after the crucifixion, by a personal friend of Jesus in Jerusalem. To an Esseer (Esseen or Essene) Brother in Alexandria. This facsimile of 1919 edition features much explanatory text not present in 1907 edition of same letter. After nearly being lost to a Jesuit on the scene in Egypt, and then later a Latin translation held in a German lodge, the letter was rediscovered and now translated into English. This volume offers an English translation of the manuscript originally discovered in Alexandria. It is an ancient letter from a personal friend of Jesus written from Jerusalem to friends in Alexandria, telling the strange, simple and impressive story, of his crucifixion, removal from the cross, his resuscitation and subsequent death, as the events were witnessed. 325 pages and 94 additional pages for reprint of 1919 The Crucifixion title.
