This reprints two books by F A Wislizenus, and includes a sketch of the author's life. A Journey to the Rocky Mountains was first published in an English translation in 1912. Memoir of a Tour to Northern Mexico was originally published in 1848. This edition was limited to 272 copies; this is number 57. BINDING/CONDITION: dark green binding with gilt; this is an EX-LIBRARY copy; with the presumably blank page in between the front free endpaper and the half-title page cut out; bookplate, 'withdrawn' stamps; otherwise in very good condition -- graded Fair due to library ownership. indexes.
