Hardcover. Condition: Fine. ] Hardback, small 8vo, appx 5 x 8 1/8 inches, gilt titles and decorations on black leather, pp [xii] + 180 + [iv] + 204, Near Fine. Slight cant to the book - perhaps/probably remediable. Spine with four simulated raised bands, all edges gilt, gold place-marker ribbon, faux marbled endpapers. Illustrations include three fold-outs. Personalized limitation bookplate (gilt on black leather) affixed to front pastedown stating #1143 of 7,500 copies. Publisher's brochure laid-in. Chesleden's work originally published in 1723, Carpue's in 1819, both published in London. This issue reproduces the two works together - in facsimile. RWR5 Medicine Surgery.
