First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Book has a square, tight binding and white pages. Book has minor wear on the covers that is difficult to see in the scans. The Chronicles of Kull Volume 3 collects the last nine exciting Kull the Destroyer comics, tying up all of the loose ends from the previous two volumes and culminating in the most important fight of the former Valusian king's life - the battle for the Topaz throne. Kull will need the help of an enigmatic warrior woman, Laralei, and an unlikely ally-in-arms, Ridondo the minstrel, if he is to conquer a giant extradimensional creature, three scheming wizards, and the skull-headed master and again rule the Purple Kingdom. Don Glut and Ernie Chan bring this epic era to a close and set the stage for what is to come next in exciting fashion - worthy of the greatest warrior-king to ever come out of Atlantis. Magazine / Periodical
Soft cover. Condition: Fine. Gene Colan, Reuben Yandoc, John Allison, Bruce Jones, Gard Brodsky, Brian Moore, Alex Nino, Frank Brunner (illustrator). The 1975 follow-up to Marvel Comics' ill-fated Worlds Unknown, Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction picked up where its predecessor left off. Packaged in the much more flattering $1 black and white magazine format, the bimonthly publication contained a number of self contained stories (approximately 10 per issue) revolving around one central theme: science fiction. Each issue was crafted by some of the genre's greatest writers. Names like Harlan Ellison, Roger Zelazny and "Chip" Delany frequented the pages within. While Magazine Management Co. published the periodical, the "Stan Lee presents:" found on the book's title page was a telling sign as to the true backer behind the project. Losing out to the spandex clad, super-hero saturated market, some of the greatest names to come out of the House of Ideas?i.e. John Romita, Chris Claremont and Tony Isabella?lent their talent's to the publication. Magazine is bagged & boarded and will be carefully / securely packaged then shipped via USPS Priority Mail to ensure that it arrives to you perfectly and quickly. Collectible Entertainment note: Magazine is in Fine condition. Nice! Please See Scans!! A must have for any serious Science Fiction collector and/or enthusiast. A fun & entertaining read. Very Highly Recommended.
