Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Box, Leonora (illustrator). First Edition, Limited Edition. A first, limited edition hard cover, with clipped dust jacket, both in very good condition, encased within a card slip cover in acceptable condition. This is a limited edition of 500 copies of which this is number 369, and was acquired from Sotheran's booksellers, the longest established antiquarian booksellers in the world, founded in 1761. Their discreet sticker is present on the verso of FEP. The slipcase is notably worn, including splits at several fold points, a dampstain to foot, front and rear, and rubbing and wear to cover and edges. Light shelfwear only to dust jacket, relating to the exposed spine (via the slip case); this lightly tanned, with minor wear at the centre of the spine, caused by previous owners extracting the book from the case. Boards are in fine condition, with gilt decorated, dark green pastedowns front and rear. Within, pages are tightly bound and the beautifully illustrated content is unmarked. Further details or photgraphs available upon request. CN.
