Original decorative wrappers, stapled, a little grubby, interior clean and bright. ii, 137, [1]pp. N.p., United States Forces European Theater, Published in the immediate aftermath of World War Two, designated "restricted", this manual was designed to "aid in the instruction of officers of enlisted men" and to "supplement the information in Army Regulations, field and technical manuals, blank forms, Theater directives, and other official publications."   The text was compiled and adapted from materials by the Third US Army School Center an The Officer's Guide, published by the Military Service Publishing Company. Divided into five chapters, they are: Basic Doctrines for Officers (leadership, discipline, military courtesy), Company Housekeeping (Hygiene and Sanitation, Mess Management), Administration, Supply, and Military Justice (Prevention of Courts-Martial, Articles of War 104 and 70, Court Procedure).   OCLC locates copies at US Army War College and US Army Logistics University only.
