(marked 7/52 15m on rear cover - July 1952, 15 million published??). 9 3/4" x 7 1/4", 20 pages, 8 pages (5 3/8" page width) of black and white photographs of kitchens and exterior architectural views, attractive diagrams including full-page diagrams for the correct arrangement of a coal-electric hot-water system in a small house, and an economical and efficient design for the kitchen of a small house., and slightly smaller diagram showing the principal of the Ring Main system in a small house; recommending that all socket-outlets are rated at 13 amps. A useful snapshot of life-styles very early in the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. A contemporary note is struck by the recommendation of insulation and draught-fitting for houses. Stapled card covers, exterior distinctly grubby, but internally fresh and clean; slight crease at lower corner. Uncommon.
