No Jacket. 1st Edition. 1st Edition Beige cloth backed boards, purple wood-veneer sides, printed paper title label to front, top edge dyed purple, beige endpapers. , an excellent copy of the 350 limited edition copies. Musrum is an extraordinary piece of late-60s mythography with a small cult following - it starts as a semi-Biblical and highly lysergic creation myth centered around its eponymous hero, Musrum, and proceeds into an epic conflict against his ruthless adversary, the Weedking. It was produced via an exchange of letters between the author Thacker, a Methodist minister from a town outsider Rotherham, and the illustrator Earnshaw, a teacher at Bradford College of Art (and an atheist).
