Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Hardcover. Red cloth over boards with elaborate gilt stamping on front cover and spine. No printed publication date that I can see. 281 pages. Stamping on spine is faded. Cloth over spine is split and frayed, lifting about one inch from head of spine; fraying at foot of spine as well. Boards slightly exposed at corners. Some dark staining along bottom edge of front cover. Stamping on front cover remains bright and lovely. Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper. Binding is a bit fragile; front gutter is cracked through, but otherwise remains secure. Color frontispiece of the marriage of Arthur and Guinevere. Contains 15 other color plates, with other illustrations throughout. A fair copy overall, well illustrated.
