Draft script for the second episode of the second season of the 1975-1978 CBS television series, which aired on September 28, 1976. Copy belonging to uncredited actor Nick Dimitri, with the manuscript pencil annotations of his name and his character's name on the title page, with a stuck manuscript ink annotation of Margot Kidder and her character's names along the top edge of the title page, and with manuscript pencil annotations on the first five pages of the script, underlining his character and striking dialog. Bound in, following the script is a "Shooting Call" sheet dated, July 14, 1976. Inspired by the 1973 film "The Sting," the series was created by Glen A. Larson and starred Robert Wagner and Eddie Albert as a con man and a retired bunco cop, respectively, who open a detective agency in Los Angeles. The series aired on CBS for three seasons and 70 episodes beginning on September 9, 1975 and ending on August 27, 1978. In this episode a stolen attache case is found to contain a bundle of money and an apparent death note pinned to a picture of several priests. Set in and shot on location in Southern California. Front wrapper integral with title page, dated June 29, 1976, with credits for screenwriter Leigh Vance. 64 leaves, with last page of text numbered 59. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only, with blue, yellow, and green revision pages throughout, dated variously between 7/5/76 and 7/9/76. Pages Very Good plus, with light splashing and foxing to the extremities of the title page, bound with two gold brads.
