Creasing and some small tears to edges of unclipped dustwrapper, minor bumping to lower corners of brown boards, a previous owner's name inside front board, but otherwise a good clean tight copy of this slim hard-cover book dealing with the herring fishery in Wick, Caithness from the early nineteenth century up to the 1930s. 80pp, around 100 b&w illustrations from pictures taken by the Johnson family of photographers who operated in Wick from the 1860s up to the 1970s. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
