Stapled into pictorial wrappers, the rear cover detached, the front cover nicked along the fore-margin and taped at the top corner, a few corners dog-eared and some margins a bit dusty, but good overall. *SCARCE - COPAC records a single copy at the British Library, the 1914 Catalogue. The above catalogue offers an array of model ships, both sailing and electric, numerous steam railway engines, boilers of various kinds and curiously, MECCANO sets. Meccano itself was first designed and marketed in 1898 by FRANK HORNBY in Liverpool.
