Black lettering is stamped on the spine. The book shows external wear, with minor loss at the outside corners and edges of the boards. The covers display uneven toning. The binding is sound. A library bookplate appears at the bottom edge of the rear pastedown. The pages are clean and without markings. This work is illustrated with 3 plates of plans and sketches, and a large folding sketch map of Chinese Turkestan and Kansu. Language: English.
