Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. Facsimile reprint of the Camden Society's 1846 edition of the "Book of Ancient Laws", a collection of records and documents pertaining to the Ciity of London between 1188 and 1274. Preface in Modern English with much Latin in quotation. Primary text in Latin and Norman French. Copy is in near fine condition. Absolutely minimal wear to the blue cloth boards. Interior is clean and unmarked with a solid, tight binding. Due to the size and weight of this item, additional shipping charges may be required depending on the destination.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Thus. cclxxi (Preface + Preface Index)+276, internally clean, tight & unmarked but fr. hinge weakening with exposed netting after t.p. and ex-lib.: early label on pastedown & faint small embossed stamp top t.p. are quite inoffensive but fr. free endpaper has modern pocketed loan sheet and - ugh! - bar-code (which I have learned not to risk trying to remove) and there are some lib.#s verso t.p. Blind-stamped black cloth covers clean but corners and edges bumped, no lib. label or ghost on sp.though. Top edge a bit dusty of course. Good working copy.
