The infamous introduction of the rabbit happened at this time. PROVENANCE: John Cecil Le Souef (1905-182) was an entomologist, the son of William H. Le Souef and grandson of Albert Le Souef. Albert Le Souef was the first director of Melbourne Zoo and a founding member of tjhe Zoological and Acclimatisation Society of Victoria.…
