In very good brown covers, black titles and decoration on front, and black titles to spine cloth; quite tight, unmarked covers; spine cloth ends frayed, front tail corner bumped. Both the maps on the free end papers are slightly tanned.; the maps on the paste downs are clean. Tanned cut edges, slight foxing on fore edge. The text block is good, with firm pages, light foxing on some pages, a few grubby marks. With three coloured maps, seven black and white maps and many black and white illustrations, (including frontispiece). Name and address on page facing title page. Scarce.
