SIGNED Copy.Maroon Boards with gilt titles to spine, 190 x 130 mm approx. xii + 98pp. The Hamlyn Lectures Twenty-seventh Series. Written by the then foremost authority on the Law of Town and Country Planning, past president of the Law Society and Comptroller and City Solicitor to the then Corporation of London the book offered by us is signed and dated by the author on the half title page and the dust jacket is marked in ink to the upper panel by the author's name "My Copy with revisions of the book" . The author was also largely responsible when Solicitor to the Corporation of London for the sale of the Old London Bridge to the Americans. VG/Good (Book- No notable shelf wear or soiling to boards. Annotations in ink by the author to numerous pages as above + one topic related press cutting cellotaped in and a page from "The Estates Review" from March 1954 reporting on a discussion following on from a paper by Lord Justice Denning entitled "Equity and the Citizen" on which Heap spoke, loosely laid in. Dust Jacket- rubbed to extremities with a few nicks to head of spine but substantially complete. A little general shelf soiling and further ink notes to rear flap fold.
