Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Near Fine. SIGNED by Ernest Shepard via a pasted in autograph, 'Ernest H Shepard'. This has been attached to the title page. There is also a gift inscription on the front endpaper, which while it must be counted as a fault, it at least establishes the date, 1927. It has also ghosted through to the half titl…e. Classifying this as NF is because of the overall feel and condition. This was the second edition in 1927, printed before the publication date of October 13th, the first print having been oversubscribed. The wonderful poetry is considerably enhanced by the fabulous 'decorations' as they are described, which are copious and utterly charming. No jacket but the red binding is still firm. Language: eng.
