Condition: Fair. No Edition Remarks. 111 pages. No dust jacket. Signed by the author. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering. Signed by the author with dedication to W.C.Mundy to front free endpaper. Pages are heavily tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Hinges are slightly cracked with exposed netting. Binding is slightly loose. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Minor splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Lettering is darkened. Visible wear marks to boards.

The boards have bumping to the corners and rubbling to the base of the spine but otherwise all intact. The binding is very good. The pages are complete, tanned at the edges but the text is clean and clear. A rare, collectable vintage book. No publishing date but probably c1935.

Weirdly rare and difficult-to-attribute title, set largely in Northumberland but with a sojourn to Morocco; one of two books written under this 'pseudonym'. Pleasingly puzzling and Hubin-listed. Contemporary gift inscription to front pastedown; cloth a little bumped at head of spine, but o/w very good; dust-jacket rubbed with some wear and minor loss to spine ends.
