No Binding. Condition: VG. No place, no date, circa 1900, sized about 8 x 10.5 inches, with facsimile signature, very clean and bright, on glossy paper. The subject, born August 10, 1857, Goshen Township, now West Chester, Pennsylvania, to S. Emlen and Martha S. Sharples, married Helen E. Brinton. Sharples was an American inventor and industrialist whose Tubular Centrifugal Separator was the first cream separator invented in the United States. He ran the largest industrial enterprise in the history of West Chester, and his factory was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. He died April 13, 1944.
