In its original dust wrapper, toned all over and heavily on spine, rubbed, chipped and rubbed at edges, with minor loss at crumbling spine ends. Serge Lifar was the leading proponent of classical ballet in the mid-20th century; and in this volume he writes for practitioners, talking through step by step his conception of a ballet dancer's training, while analysing classical positions and movements.
