"Notable Historical Trials" was first published by The Folio Society in 1999. All four volumes are second printings published in 2010. Volume I: From Socrates to the Gunpowder Plot. The book contains an Introduction by John Mortimer. Volume II: From Galileo to Admiral Byng. Volume III: From the Boston Massacre to Queen Caroline. Volume IV: From Burke and Hare to Oscar Wilde. All four volumes are near fine, with beautiful marbled boards. The slipcase shows some general shelf wear. A lovely set. (See pictures).
