Scotts Shipbuilding and Engineering Company kurz Scotts, war ein Schiffbauunternehmen in Greenock, Schottland, am Fluss Clyde. Es galt als das weltweit erste industrielle Schiffbauunternehmen.,Am 28. März 1984 verkaufte man das Unternehmen Scott-Lithgow und die Werften an Trafalgar House. Der Schiffbau bei Scotts wurde unter den neuen Eigentümern aber nicht noch einmal aufgenommen. Im gleichen Jahr erfolgte nach 270 Jahren und 1250 Schiffen, die endgültige Schließung von Cartsburn in Greenock. In den Jahren von 1988 bis 1997 wurden die traditionsreichen Werften abgebrochen und das Gelände zu einem Büro und Geschäftsviertel umgebaut.
