Condition: Very Good. 1st British Edition (2nd German). xxxii+unf.map+309+8(pub.list); xv+333+(2)+8(pub.lists), pub.lists on endpapers & pastedowns. ex-University College of North Wales library with their heraldic labels on pastedowns, small early oval stamps on t.p.s & a few markings verso t.p.s, otherwise have spotted no further lib. markings internally or externally. Map in Vol.1 a little foxed, otherwise internally clean, tight & unmarked. Russet blind-stamped cloth covers clean, slight bumping to corners & rubbing to sp. ends, sp. of Vol.2 v.sl.faded. An attractive set of this scarce pioneering work.
