In The Shadow Of Lincoln's Death follows an earlier work by Eisenschiml, titled Why Was Lincoln Murdered?, which argues that Abraham Lincoln's assassination was part of a broader conspiracy rather than the act of a lone actor. Eisenschiml presents evidence suggesting that John Wilkes Booth, along with other conspirators, had connections to influential individuals who opposed Lincoln's policies. Secretary of War Edwin M. Stanton is implicated in the plot. (Monaghan, 3561) Both books have been largely discredited by historians. The first edition of In The Shadow Of Lincoln's Death by Otto Eisenschiml, in the publisher's scarce dust jacket. (illustrator). Signed.

Ethan, paralyzed by his own fears of rejection, watched from the sidelines, his heart aching with a longing he never dared to pursue.Years later, fate brings him back into their lives, only to be confronted with the echoes of what could have been. He witnesses the enduring pain of their lost love, the weight of their regrets, and the emptiness that follows a life unlived.Through his own journey of self-discovery, Ethan grapples with his own regrets, his own fears of intimacy, and the search for meaning in a life marked by missed opportunities. He learns to accept the past, to find solace in the present moment, and to embrace the beauty of the human spirit, even in the face of profound loss. The story explores themes of love, loss, regret, ambition, and the search for meaning in a life filled with both joy and sorrow.
