Cloth, dj, VG/G. xii+232pp, 12pp b/w plates, 37 line drawings, illustration to the rear endpaper, index, spine of the edge worn dustjacket water marked & with a little loss to the top, edges bumped. A description of garden life with answers to questions such as why flowers have scent & colour, why some seeds straight away & others are delayed & many more. 350 grams.

Condition: Good. 1952. 328 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning.
