Previous owner's inscription at head of front paste-down has been covered up with a piece of matching white paper; ffep dirtied. The textblock has been notably bumped at the head of the gutter from p.300 onwards; this "bump" has created some closed tears, creases, and chipped away some paper; the leaves remain entirely secure and the damage does not affect the text or images. Else textblock is bright and clean. Replete with B&W and colour illustrations throughout. A great reference / reading copy.
