Pages are lightly tanned with noticeable foxing throughout. Cracks to guttering, exposing netting. Binding is slightly loose however pages and plates remains firmly attached. Faint pencil markings to front endpaper. Plates are lightly tanned. Boards have noticeable edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Heavy markings and staining to front board and spine. Gilt lettering is darkened.

Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surface. Small scratches and stain to both boards. Moderate sunning to spine with visible crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened.

Original bright yellow cloth, lettered in black, now a touch dusty at edges; small spot on front, another on rear; internally excellent. White photo-pictorial (Diana Kingsmill free skating) dust jacket, lettered in red and black; publisher's "4/6" sticker overlaying original "2/6" price on front; minor wear at corners, with short closed tear at top front; lightly dusty, especially along front fore edge. A near fine copy.

Plus 8 pages of photos and 6 pages of publishers' adverts to rear. Internally very good, clean and bright. Small, ink, previous owner's inscription to front free end paper. Yellow cloth covered boards in the original pictorial dustwrapper, a little foxed, rubbed and with a few chips to the extremities, else very good condition.

Original blue card covers with photopictorial (the author in motion) onlay (with two small abrasions thereon); covers spotted and soiled, with minor fading to top edge and spine; head of spine creased. Contents a bit thumbed, but tight in binding. A very good copy of an unusual 16 pp. booklet.
