Green cloth with silver sp. lettering, fine bar two faint white lines to lower fr. 382 + (6, pub. notices of other books by Russell); small signature recto half-title, otherwise clean, tight and unmarked, though some gatherings appear darker on front text-block edge for no identifiable internal reason. Clipped jacket clean but internally closed short tear top back sp. and hints of tanning to back edges (will add protective sleeve when ordered. First issued in 1956, this collection contains 10 essays on technical philosophical topics from the earlier 'On Denoting' and 'Mathematical Logic as Based on the Theory of Types' to the 1950 'Logical Positivism'. 14.5 cm x 22 cm.
