No date (circa 1935), small 8vo, 64 pp, black and white illustrations throughout from photographs, diagrams illustrating tactics etc, cloth with dust wrapper, the wrapper has some loss to the top left hand corner of the front cover but a very good copy of an interesting period piece. The two authors were Masters at Wellingborough.

In very good condition this book from 1937 explains the games and rules of football using photographs and diagrams throughout. The DJ is in a clear protective cover as it has some edge wear mainly at top and bottom of spine and corners, consistent with its age. It does have an ink scribble on the front just above the title. The card boards are covered in a pale yellow cloth, with orange titles. A very collectable item for a football fan.

Original Cloth. Condition: Good Plus. No Jacket. First Edition. Illustrated instruction, with substantial use of model players set on a table 'pitch' to demonstrate team strategy. Light colored cloth a little soiled, but close to very good.
