This two book listing - with both books measuring 9.375 x 8.25 inches - are both parts of the California State Department of Education Music for Living Series - with the 1958 date showing on both items on the title page and the copyright showing - No. 1st Print, 15M, 1958. These two companion boo…ks feature wonderfully colorful artists? pictorial covers with both books showing modest handling-wear but the covers have not worn through on the corners and all in all the two books are in at least very good condition. The interior shows some stamping by several schools in California - and with the stamp - Declared Obsolete - and only one inked name and 2-3 marks scattered through the two books. Both books feature the wonderful color illustrations of Feodor Rojankovsky ? with both books showing 37 numbered pages. Both books feature a colored collage endpapers by Rojankovsky. Both bindings are firm and all in all a nice set.
