This book is in excellent condition with the all-important words "FIRST EDITION" printed on the publication page signifying the books first edition. This is also the much rarer, so called FIRST STATE edition with errors! The original copies of this book had to be withdrawn due to several typing errors, including the now famous mistake on page 503 reading. 'Dumbledore, come!' said Crouch angrily. As we all know, this should have been Fudge from the Ministry of Magic speaking not Crouch! Why is the OMNIA edition so rare? Bloomsbury use Clays Ltd to print the Harry Potter books, however this book was printed in Scotland, close to JK Rowling's home by Omnia. It is reported only 1 in 4 of the books came out of Scotland add to this the called back books with errors and you can see why so few of these true 1st edition survive and in Fantastic condition!
