Tight, superb first edition of this, as front jacket notes, guide to "How to watch the game the way the pros do," with primo autograph addition: Tipped to front flyleaf is a fine, heavy stock 5" X 3" card signed boldly by Rote in black ballpoint and dated by him 29 November 1979 at upper right. Rote (1927-2002) was the star receiver and running back for the New York Giants (1951-61) and later a noted sportscaster. Laid in is the perfect bookmark: Rote's original transmittal envelope.
