First edition, hardcover, gift inscription to front pastedown, otherwise a VG+ copy in a VG- dustjacket which is a little soiled and edgeworn, and which has a 2" closed tear to the front fold.

Text is unmarked and not yellowed. Text is otherwise unmarked with a warm patina and some b/w illustrations. Teal cloth boards are bright and pointed with white lettering. Illustrated dust jacket is is clipped but price remains. Chip on spine foot and upper edge of rear panel; a few closed tears present on the edges. Binding is tight with hinges securely attached.
