Marbling to page edges. Marbled endpapers. Engraved prize plate dated 1906 to the front pastedown. Illustrated throughout with full-page and in-text black and white illustrations by Byam Shaw, including frontispiece and title page printed in red and black. A very good copy, the binding firm with a little fading and rubbing to the spine and joints and a couple of minor scuffs to the boards and spine. The contents with some light scattered foxing are otherwise in very good order. A nicely bound copy of this attractive edition of Robert Browning's poetical works, sumptuously illustrated in the Art Nouveau style by Byam Shaw. Part of the publisher's 'Endymion' series.
