The spine title is: Sears Pictorial Library, so the book's title is derived from that. There is an old Locust Street Public Schools (Philadelphia) bookplate on the front end paper. The original binding is quite worn and the leather spine is split at the rear outer joint & also horizontally in center--this does not affecting tightness of book. Despite the faults, this is an interesting item that is worth rebacking or rebinding. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 520 pages.
