Original publication corner fold page (xi) "Introduction" (text unaffected) neated cut to book text body. Page 312 has memorial ink mark honoring S.L.Rader (KIA Sept 1944). Apparently this copy was owned by a member or family of someone in it and the mark indicates who the remembered soldier was. Final white endpaper has date July 17, 1953.
