Publisher's prospectus (in English) laid in. Slight fading to spines, else fine. Superb facsimile of the manuscript "Tournament Book" created by Imperial Herald George Rixner in 1615. The lavish manuscript records aristocratic lineage of a south-western German family and depicts the accoutrements and pageantry of the tournament. Text in German. Commentary text in French.
