Ca mid-1830s. 46, [2] pp. 6 sketches herein, with one being "An Attempt at an Essay on Paper. A Comic Offering by T. Dibdin" 16 b/w illustrations. 16mo: B - D8. 6-3/8" x 4" Volume lacks preliminary matter, so presumed to be a single issue of A Beckett's publication. A penciled note in the front states "Illustrated by Seymour", an observation in which we concur. General wear. Hinges reinforced with tape. Age-toning to paper. A VG copy. 19th C, but not original, plain purple paper covers.
